Who are your clients?
We specialize in pediatric speech and language therapy for children ages 18 months-14 years old.
Where do the sessions take place?
We provide in-home therapy services in Oak Forest/Garden Oaks, Timbergrove, Houston Heights, Montrose, West University and Bellaire neighborhoods.
We also have the option to see your child at their local school, preschool or daycare (limited availability).
Does Ladybug Speech and Language accept insurance?
We are out of network with insurance and Superbills are provided upon request to submit to your insurance company. It is the client's responsibility to verify available benefits and requirements prior to beginning speech therapy.
How long are the sessions?
We offer both 30-minute and 45-minute sessions. Our initial evaluations/re-evaluations typically require 60-90 minutes to complete.
How long will my child be in speech therapy?
Our priority at Ladybug Speech and Language is to improve your child's communication skills as quickly and effectively as possible. Your child's goals are written for a six-month-one year period.
Parent involvement is KEY. We highly encourage home practice to promote the generalization of skills, and we will show you how to do this throughout your child's plan of care. At Ladybug Speech and Language, we work together as a team!
